Saturday, September 10, 2011 STABBING C11-191537 On September 10th, 2011 at approximately 2:40 a.m., members of the Winnipeg Police Service responded to a stabbing incident which occurred in the area of College Avenue and Aikins Street. Attending members located a 15 year old male suffering from multiple stab wounds to his upper body. Officers provided first aid to the victim until which time paramedic services attended and continued with medical care. The investigation has revealed that the victim, while in the company of another male came into contact with a group of males. The victim became involved in a physical confrontation at which time he was stabbed, causing serious upper body injuries. The victim was conveyed to hospital in critical condition where he remains at this time. No arrest(s) have been made, however the investigation is continuing by members of the Major Crimes Unit.
