Friday, October 5, 2012 GROW OPERATION – ARRESTS R12-84178 On Thursday, October 4, 2012 members of the Winnipeg Police Service Drug Unit assisted by the Tactical Support Team and District 3 Community Support Unit executed a Controlled Drugs and Substances Act search warrant on Abraham Bay.   A large multi-stage grow operation was located in the residence and the following was seized:   848 Cannabis Marihuana Plants – estimated street value $949,760.00   6 pounds of packaged cannabis marihuana – estimated street value $15,000.00   Grow Operation Equipment – valued at $15,000.00   Officers arrested a 38 year old male and a 34 year old female inside the residence and they are facing the following charges: Production of Cannabis Marihuana, Possess for the Purpose of Trafficking, Cannabis Marihuana and Theft of Telecommunication Service (Hydro).   They were released on a Promise to Appear.       For further information contact either: Patrol Sgt.
