SHAWN LAMB INVESTIGATION – TIP LINE
As previously released, the Winnipeg Police Service announced a National Tip Line in regards to the Shawn Lamb investigation. Lamb was arrested on June 23, 2012 for the murders of Tanya Nepinak, Carolyn Sinclair and Lorna Blacksmith. 
The investigation is still on-going. Police are requesting the public to come forward with any information regarding this investigation. 
Those persons who have called the tip-line anonymously in the past are requested to re-contact the tip line.

HOMICIDE INVESTIGATION – ARRESTS C12-210669
On October 18, 2012, at approximately 10:35 a.m., a Division 13 Beat Officer was walking near the north lane in the 300 block of Aberdeen Avenue when an injured male was located.
 
Members of the Winnipeg Fire Paramedic Service were notified and the male was transported from the scene in unstable condition.
 
The investigation has revealed that during the evening hours of October 17th and into the early morning hours of October 18th, a drinking party was taking place at a residence involving numerous people. At one point during the gathering, a physical altercation involving three females and the male victim erupted. The victim was physically assaulted while in the residence at which time the altercation spilled outside to the rear yard.   
 
Once outside, a male suspect approached the victim and proceeded to assault him further.
 
The victim was left outside and the suspects returned to the residence.
 
Attending members took several individuals into custody.
 
On October 19, 2012, during the early morning hours, the victim, Leroy George ROSS, 38 years of Winnipeg succumbed to his injuries.  Autopsy results are pending.
 
Mary Sue Harper, 37 years, Linda Margaret MCDOUGHALL, 35 years, Debbie Rose REDSKYE, 42 years and Swanson Annanias Ross, 42 years have been charged with Manslaughter as a result of their alleged involvement.
 
They were detained.
 
 
HOMICIDE - UPDATE - ARREST C12 -196569
As previously released - on September 29, 2012, at approximately 12:20 a.m., members of the Winnipeg Police Service and other emergency personnel responded to the 600 block of Maryland Street regarding shots being fired.
 
Moments later, a second call to police indicated that a male had been located and was suffering from a gunshot wound. Attending members located the injured male and while searching the area, a second male was found to be suffering from injuries consistent with being shot.
 
Jordan Dennis HOULE, 24 years old of Winnipeg was conveyed from the scene in critical condition and later succumbed to his injuries. A 19 year old male was conveyed from the scene in serious condition and was later upgraded to stable condition.
 
As previously acknowledged, Michael Frank OKEMOW, 24 years and Edward Arthur COUTU, 27 years have been arrested and charged with 2nd Degree Murder and Attempted Murder.He was detained.
 
On October 19, 2012, at approximately 12:55 a.m., Division 13 Uniform Patrol members and members of the Tactical Support Team located and arrested Clinton Jordan MCKENZIE, 20 years of age. He was turned over to Homicide Investigators and has been charged with 2nd Degree Murder and Attempted Murder.
 
He was detained.  
 
 
COMMERCIAL ROBBERY C12-21188
On October 19, 2012, at approximately 1:30 a.m., officers responded to a business located in the 1100 block of St. Mary's Road regarding a robbery incident.
 
Investigators were advised that two armed male suspects entered the business and confronted two employees (26 and 37 years of age). An undisclosed amount of cash was taken and the suspects fled the area.
 
Prior to fleeing, one of the suspects discharged a canister of bear spray.  
 
The suspects are described as:
 
Suspect 1 – Male, 5'9" – 5'10" tall and large build.
 
Suspect 2 – Male, 5'7" tall, having a smaller build.
 
The investigation is continuing by members of the Major Crimes Unit. Anyone with information regarding this matter is asked to contact police at 204 986-6219 or Crime Stoppers at 204 786-TIPS (8477).
 
 
STABBING C12-211281
On October 19, 2012, at approximately 6:55 a.m., emergency personnel responded to a residence located in the 300 block of Regent Avenue East regarding a possible stabbing incident.
 
Attending members located an adult male with injuries consistent with being stabbed. He was transported from the scene in critical condition.
 
Limited information is available at this time.
 
Members of the Major Crimes Unit continue to investigate.
