Winnipeg Police Service News Release:

Friday, October 26, 2012     DRUG INVESTIGATION – ARRESTS R12-108710 As a result of a lengthy investigation by members of the Winnipeg Police Service Drug Unit, with the assistance of the Tactical Support Team, Vice Unit, and Uniform Patrol members, three Controlled Drug and Substance Act Search Warrants were recently executed.   Warrants were executed at the following residences on October 24, 2012, at approximately 8:15 a.m., at which time illegal drugs and weapons were located and seized.   A side by side commercial building located in the 400 block of Brooklyn Street (two addresses):   464 Marihuana plants – estimated street value $519,680.00 Grow Operation equipment valued at $15,000.00   Two occupants were located inside the premises and arrested.   A residence located in the 800 block of Borebank Street:   12 gauge shotgun .300 calibre rifle 30.06 calibre rifle A quantity of ammunition   No one was located in the residence at the time the warrant was executed.   Reid Garry SCHINDLE, 63 years and Theodore Devron LEE, 37 years have been charged with numerous drug and firearm related offences due to their alleged involvement.   Both males were detained.     For further information contact either: Patrol Sgt.
