Wednesday, October 17, 2012 operation impact - results The Winnipeg Police Service is pleased to be participating in "Operation Impact", a national public safety initiative endorsed by the Canadian Association of Chiefs of Police and a collaboration of Police Agencies across Canada. The program's aim is to save lives and reduce injuries on our roadways. Between October 5th- 8th, 2012, as a result of the campaign, WPS members issued the following:
