Winnipeg Police Service News Release:

Wednesday, October 3, 2012   SUSPICIOUS INCIDENT   C12-199478 On Tuesday, October 2, 2012 at approximately 11:36 p.m., members of the Winnipeg Police Service responded to the report of a suspicious incident that took place at approximately 3:00 p.m., in the area of Ness Avenue and School Road.   Attending members learned that a 13 year old female was walking in the area when she was approached by a lone male in a vehicle. The male attempted to speak with the female as he followed her in his vehicle. She refused to engage in conversation with the male, at which time he drove away leaving the area.   The female was not injured as a result of this incident.   The male is described as: Oriental in appearance, approximately 30 years old, medium build with short black hair.   The vehicle is described as: Newer looking dark blue medium size 4 door car.   The investigation is continuing by members of the Winnipeg Police Criminal Investigation Bureau. Anyone with information is asked to contact investigators at 204-986-3296 or CrimeStoppers at 204-768-TIPS (8477).   For further information contact either: Patrol Sgt.
