Stabbing Investigation Update – Arrest - C14-177288
As previously released, on August 21, 2014 at approximately 1:00 a.m., emergency personnel responded to a business in the area of Carlton Street and Graham Avenue regarding a stabbing incident.
 
The investigation had revealed that a 19 year-old male was standing on a patio when he was approached by a group of males. One of the males punched the victim, while another stabbed him in the lower body.
 
The suspects fled and police were notified.
 
The investigation continued by members of the Division 11 Crime Unit who were able to identify the two suspects.
 
On September 2, 2014 one of the suspects was located and arrested without incident in the 100 block of Main Street.
 
Henry LE, 24 years of Winnipeg has been charged with Aggravated Assault for his alleged involvement.
 
He was detained in custody.
 
The investigation is continuing and a second arrest is pending.
