Drug Arrests – C14-195917
On September 14, 2014 shortly after 1:30 a.m. Winnipeg Police Service members were dispatched for the report of a road rage incident in the area of Archibald Street and Provencher Boulevard.  The complainant reported being threatened by two males in a red truck, one of whom pointed a firearm at him.
 
Several units flooded the area and the suspect vehicle was located in the area of Archibald Street and Marion Street.  Two male suspects were taken into custody without incident.  The following was seized:

  • 20 ounces of powder cocaine – approximate street value $52,000.00
  • 46 grams of crack cocaine – approximate street value $3,000.00
  • 28 grams of powder Methylamphetamine (Ecstasy)  – approximate street value $1,000.00
  • 46 pills Ecstasy – approximate street value $460.00
  • 2161 grams Methamphetamine – approximate street value $200,000.00
  • Ruger SR - .22 calibre semi-automatic long barrel rifle
  • Ammunition for the aforementioned firearm and functioning loaded magazine

Members of the East District Crime Unit continued with the investigation.

Jaden Joshua OMEASOO, 18 years of Hobbema, AB and Benjamin James WHITE, 25 years of Lloydminister, AB have both been charged with numerous drug and weapons related offences.

Both were detained in custody.
