CRIME PREVENTION PRESENTATIONS
 
The Winnipeg Police Service Crime Prevention Unit is dedicated to educating and working with communities for the common goal of safer communities. Citizens are invited to attend Crime Prevention presentations being offered at various locations throughout the City of Winnipeg.
 
There will be presentations on a variety of topics including the Neighbourhood Watch Program, Personal and Property Safety, Residential Home Security and Identity Theft.
 
Presentations will be held at the following locations:
 
Norwood Community Centre – 87 Walmer Street
Wednesday, May 23, 2012   Registration: 6:30 p.m.     Meeting: 7:00 p.m.
 
Canadian Mennonite University – 500 Shaftesbury Boulevard
Thursday, May 31, 2012      Registration: 6:30 p.m.        Meeting:  7:00 p.m.
 
Sturgeon Heights Collegiate (Theatre) – 2665 Ness Avenue
Tuesday, June 12, 2012     Registration: 6:30 p.m.       Meeting:  7:00 p.m.
 
The public is encouraged to attend these Crime Prevention presentations to enhance their knowledge of personal safety and safety within their communities. 
 
The Winnipeg Police Service offers a comprehensive 82 page Crime Prevention Handbook which is available on their website.
