*Please note corrected date of incident* COMMERCIAL ROBBERY – ARREST C12-95774 On May 23, 2012, at approximately 4:45 p.m., uniform patrol members responded to a commercial robbery incident at a store located in the 500 block of Ellice Avenue. The investigation has revealed that a lone male suspect entered the business and confronted a 45 year old female employee. The suspect produced a knife at which time he took hold of the female victim. An undisclosed amount of cash was taken and the suspect fled the area on foot. The victim was not injured as a result of the incident. Due to the assistance of members of the public, the suspect was located and arrested nearby. Derek John HALL, 25 years has been charged with: Robbery with a Weapon due to his alleged involvement. He was detained at the Provincial Remand Centre.
