Winnipeg Police Service News Release:

 

  

SUSPICIOUS CIRCUMSTANCES     C12-151470
On Wednesday August 1, 2012 a Winnipeg Police Service General Patrol Unit responded to the report of a suspicious incident in the area of Isabel Street and Logan Avenue.
 
A 36 year old female reported that approximately 3:30 p.m. while walking in the area she was approached from behind by a male who grabbed her arm and attempted to pull her into a stopped vehicle. She resisted and the male left the area in the vehicle.
 
The suspect is described as:
 
Asian male, in his twenties, 5'6" tall, chubby build, short black messy hair, wearing a black t-shirt and blue jeans.
 
The vehicle was described as: 

Black, older model Blazer, with rust over the passenger side wheels
and was last seen travelling North over the Slaw Rebchuk Bridge.
 
Anyone who was in the area and may have witnessed this incident is asked to contact the Winnipeg Police Service Division 11 Crime Unit at 204-986-6668 or Crime Stoppers at 204-786 TIPS (8477)
