Thursday, December 1st, 2011 11:45 a.m. CHILD C11-249864 On November 30th, 2011 at approximately 2:55 p.m. Winnipeg Police and Emergency Services responded to the 1400 block of Regent Avenue for a report of an infant that had been located. A female called a local hospital and indicated she had located a baby. She was then connected to the 911 emergency system. An infant was transported via ambulance to hospital in unstable condition, and later upgraded to stable. A subsequent police investigation has determined that the female caller was in fact, the infant's mother. It has been determined that this incident is not a police matter.
