Winnipeg Police Service News Release:

Monday, May 30th, 2011   HOMICIDE INVESTIGATION - CANADA-WIDE WARRANT C11-103363 As previously released, on May 21st, 2011 at approximately 11:35 a.m., emergency personnel were dispatched to a downtown hotel located in the 200 block of Smith Street regarding a sudden death.   Members of the Winnipeg Police Service were notified by hotel staff indicating that an adult male with trauma injuries to this upper body, had been located deceased within a suite. The victim has been identified as: Leslie Alex OKEMOW, 29 years of Gods Lake Narrow, Manitoba.    Members of the Homicide Unit are continuing with the investigation.   A Canada-Wide Warrant has been issued for the arrest of 32 year old Arnold Philip HARPER.           HARPERis described as: Male, Aboriginal, 5'10" in height, 217 lbs., large build, black hair and brown eyes.   Anyone with information regarding HARPER's whereabouts is requested to contact police at 986-6222, Investigators at 986-6508 or CrimeStoppers at 786-TIPS (8477).     MISSING PERSONS – EDWARD "EDDY" LUND C11-110225 The Winnipeg Police Service is requesting the public's assistance in locating a 15 year old male, Eddy LUND.   LUND was last seen on May 29th, 2011 at 10:00 p.m.   As a result of the investigation, members of the Missing Person's Unit are concerned for LUND's well-being.   LUND is described as: Aboriginal, 5'3" in height, 120 lbs., short black hair and brown eyes.
