Friday, May 20th, 2011     MISSING PERSON – SHALACE THICKFOOT   R11-43347 The Winnipeg Police Service is requesting the public's assistance in locating a 15 year old female, Shalace THICKFOOT. THICKFOOT was last seen on May 18th, 2011.    The Winnipeg Police Service considers THICKFOOT to be a child in need of protection as she is at high risk of being exploited or victimized and investigators are concerned for her well-being.   THICKFOOT is described as: Aboriginal, 5'7" tall, 160 lbs., brown medium length hair pulled back and brown eyes. THICKFOOT was last seen wearing: white pants and a dark jacket.     Anyone with information regarding THICKFOOT's whereabouts is asked to contact the Winnipeg Police Service at 986-6222 or the Missing Persons Unit at 986-6250.        MISSING PERSON – TARA FERLAND - C11-100964 The Winnipeg Police Service is requesting the public's assistance in locating an 11 year old female, Tara FERLAND. FERLAND was last seen on May 18th, 2011.    The Winnipeg Police Service considers FERLAND to be a child in need of protection as she is at high risk of being exploited or victimized and investigators are concerned for her well-being.   FERLAND is described as: Aboriginal, 5'2" tall, 103 lbs., shoulder length black hair and brown eyes. FERLAND was last seen wearing: a black zip up sweater with a pink stripe, a black tank top, dark blue jeans and black shoes.     Anyone with information regarding FERLAND's whereabouts is asked to contact the Winnipeg Police Service at 986-6222 or the Missing Persons Unit at 986-6250.    For further information contact either: Constable Natalie Aitken, Public Information Officer Constable Jason Michalyshen, Public Information Officer Office: (204)986-3061 Fax: (204) 986-3267 Email: WPS-PIO@Winnipeg.ca   Web: www.winnipeg.ca/Police
