COMMERCIAL ROBBERY- UPDATE                C13-157177

As previously released, on August 7, 2013 at approximately 10:15 a.m. Winnipeg Police Service members responded to a jewellery store in the area of Main Street and Lombard Avenue for a report of a commercial robbery that had just occurred. 
 
Upon arrival officers learned that a lone male suspect, armed with a crow bar, had entered the store and proceeded to smash the jewellery cabinets. 
 
The suspect fled the store with an assortment of merchandise.  There were no reported injuries.
 
The investigation has revealed that a number of men's and ladies' Rolex watches were stolen.

      

                 
 

 
The suspect is described as:
 

  • Caucasian Male, 25 to 30 years of age, approximately 5'6" tall with a small build and dark hair.  He was wearing a dark coloured flat cap, dark sunglasses and a dark coloured jacket.
