KICKIN' IT WITH CADETS
Since November 2010, Winnipeg Police Cadets have been actively engaging community partners and the public as part of their mandate to build a safer community through visual presence and building positive relationships. 
 
The Cadet Section is leading the 3rd Annual soccer game with children in Central Park called "Kickin' it with Cadets."  The Cadets have partnered with Central Neighborhood's Development Corporation, West End Biz and the 4 Life Foundation to host this event.
 
There will be a Winnipeg Police cruiser on display, members of the Blue Bombers and the Tim Horton's cruiser. Hot dogs and prizes will also be provided.
 

 
We encourage the media, community members and local businesses to come out and join us:
 
DATE: Wednesday, August 21st, 2013
 
TIME: 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm
 
LOCATION: Central Park
 
Community events such as this captures the importance of  building relationships and the value of providing a consistent beat presence to establish and maintain a safe place for youth and to create a culture of safety.
