Thursday, August 15, 2013 CDSA SEARCH WARRANT ARRESTS – C13-162477 Recently Division 11 members of the Winnipeg Police Service entered into an investigation regarding on-going drug dealing at a residence in the 500 block of Langside Street.  As a result of the investigation, a Controlled Drug and Substances Act (CDSA) search warrant was applied for and granted.   On Wednesday, August 14, 2013 shortly after 3:00 p.m. with the assistance of the Division 11 Crime Unit, Tactical Support Team and Canine Unit the warrant was executed.  Six people within the residence were arrested without incident.   A search of the residence resulted in the seizure of Crack Cocaine, drug paraphernalia and $1241.00 in Canadian currency.   Diana Dawn CATCHEWAY 28 years of Winnipeg has been charged with: Possessing substance for purposes of trafficking – COCAINE Possess Proceeds of Crime CATCHEWAY was also processed on an outstanding Canada Wide Warrant for Parole Revocation.   She has been detained in custody at the Provincial Remand Centre.   Bobbi Lynn LUND 33 years of Winnipeg has been charged with: Possessing substance for purposes of trafficking – COCAINE Possess Proceeds of Crime She has been detained in custody at the Provincial Remand Centre.   A 17 year old male of Winnipeg has been charged with: Possessing substance for purposes of trafficking – COCAINE Possess Proceeds of Crime Fail to Comply with Condition Undertaking He has been detained in custody at the Manitoba Youth Centre.   A 16 year old female of Winnipeg has been charged with: Possessing substance for purposes of trafficking – COCAINE Possess Proceeds of Crime Failure to comply with sentence x 2 She has been detained in custody at the Manitoba Youth Centre.   A 12 year old male of Winnipeg has been charged with: Trafficking in controlled drug or substance - COCAINE Possess Proceeds of Crime Fail to Comply Conditions Undertaking He has been detained in custody at the Manitoba Youth Centre.   An 18 year old male of Winnipeg is facing charges of: Possessing substance for purposes of trafficking – COCAINE Possess Proceeds of Crime He was released on a Promise to Appear.       For further information contact either: Constable Jason Michalyshen, Public Information Officer Constable Eric Hofley, Public Information Officer Detective Sergeant Natalie Aitken, Public Information Officer Phone: (204) 986-3061 | Fax: (204) 986-3267 | Email: WPS-PIO@Winnipeg.ca Share this mailing with your social network by clicking on the appropriate link:       Related Winnipeg Police Service Report a Crime Online Crime Stoppers CrimeStat Unsubscribe If you do not want to receive these emails anymore, unsubscribe.
