Crime Prevention Tip    FRAUDULENT TELEPHONE SOLICITATIONS The Winnipeg Police Service has received reports from local businesses who have received telephone calls from individuals identifying themselves as being associated to the Winnipeg Police Service or the Winnipeg Police Association.  During the telephone call a request is made for the business to buy advertising space in an upcoming magazine or publication.
