Winnipeg Police Service News Release:

Saturday, January 14, 2012     ROBBERY WITH A WEAPON C12-8055 On January 14, 2012, at approximately 12:50 a.m., members of the Winnipeg Police Service and Winnipeg Fire Paramedic Service responded to the 600 block of Balmoral Street regarding a stabbing incident.   A 45 year old male was located with upper body injuries consistent with being stabbed. He was transported to hospital in unstable condition.    It has been determined that the victim was confronted by two suspects, robbed of his alcohol and stabbed.   The victim has since been upgraded to stable condition.
