Sunday, January 1st, 2012 11:00 a.m. HOMICIDE INVESTIGATION- UPDATE C11-269541 As previously released, on December 31st, 2011 just after 5:00 a.m., Winnipeg Police Service members were dispatched to a residence within the 600 block of Selkirk Avenue for a report of a shooting that had occurred. Upon arrival officers located a number of individuals within the residence. Paramedics transported an injured adult male to the hospital in critical condition, where he succumbed to his injures. A 30 year old female, was also transported to the hospital in stable condition. The male victim has been identified as Michael Warren SINCLAIR, 46 years of Winnipeg. This investigation is ongoing by members of the Homicide Unit and the Major Crimes Unit.
