STOLEN MEDICATION R11-18851
On March 5, 2011 at approximately 12:00 noon, members of the Winnipeg Police Service received a report of stolen medication.
 
It has been determined that on March 4, 2011 between 9:30 p.m. and 10:00 p.m., a re-usable shopping bag containing a variety of medication was left unattended at a coffee shop in the area of the 3200 block of Portage Avenue. Upon the owners return, the medication could not be located.
 
The stolen medication which was stored in bubble pack containers is as follows:
 
·        21 x 1mg Ativan
·        7 x 2mg Ativan
·        14 x 500mg Calcium Carbonate
·        42 x .25mg Clonidine
·        7 x 10mg Lipitor
·        7 x 150mg Lithium
·        14 x 300mg Lithium
·        14 x 250mg Metformin
·        14 x 150mg Raniditine
·        7 x 30mg Temazepam
·        7 x 150mg Wellbutrin
·        28 x 7.5mg Zopliclone
 
This medication taken alone or in combination with other drugs or alcohol could be lethal. 
 
At no time should these medications be taken by anyone if located. If anyone locates these medications, they can turn them over to any police facility or contact police at 986-6222.
