FINANCIAL ROBBERY C11-45649
On March 7, 2011 at approximately 1:15 p.m., Uniform members responded to a robbery incident which occurred at a Financial Institution located in the 300 block of Portage Avenue.
 
Attending members learned that a 23 year old female employee was confronted by a male suspect at which time he demanded money. No weapon was observed and no injuries were sustained.
 
The suspect fled with an undisclosed amount of cash.
 
The suspect is described as: Male, fair complexion, 25-35 years of age, 6'00" in height with an average build.
 
The investigation is continuing by members of the Major Crimes Unit. Anyone with information regarding the incident is asked to contact investigators at 986-6219 or CrimeStoppers at 786-TIPS (8477).
 
 
COMMERCIAL ROBBERY C11-45955
On March 7, 2011 at approximately 9:00 p.m., Officers were dispatched to a fast food restaurant located in the 200 block of Notre Dame Avenue regarding a robbery event.
 
The investigation has revealed that an 18 year old male employee was working when a lone male suspect entered the store. The suspect proceeded to place an order at which time he produced a knife and demanded money. An undisclosed amount of cash was provided and the suspect fled the area on foot.
 
No one was injured as a result of the incident.
 
The suspect is described as follows: Male, Aboriginal in appearance, 40 years of age, 5'7" in height and a medium build.   
 
The investigation is continuing by members of the Major Crimes Unit. Anyone with information regarding the incident is asked to contact investigators at 986-6219 or CrimeStoppers at 786-TIPS (8477).
 
 
COMMERCIAL ROBBERY C11-46020
On March 7, 2011 at approximately 10:53 p.m., Uniform members responded to a commercial robbery at a business located in the 800 block of McLeod Avenue.
 
It has been determined that a male suspect entered the business at approximately 10:35 p.m., and initially asked the store employee what time they closed. The 27 year old female employee indicated that she would be closing the store for the evening at 11:00 p.m. The suspect then left the business only to return approximately 10 minutes later. The suspect then placed an order and after a short period of time, he produced a knife and demanded money. An undisclosed amount of cash was provided and the suspect fled the area.
 
No one was injured as a result of the incident.
 
The suspect is described as: Male, Caucasian, 5'10"- 6'00" in height, thin to medium build and some facial hair.
 
The suspect may have fled in a vehicle described as: a black, newer model full size Silverado or Sierra, 4x4, with a black bed cap.
 
The driver of the vehicle is described as: Male, Caucasian, tall, having a large nose.
