Sunday, March 27, 2011 SERIOUS SEXUAL ASSAULT C11-59461 On March 26, 2011, members of the Winnipeg Police Service became involved in an investigation regarding a serious sexual assault which occurred on March 25th at approximately 10:30 p.m., in the area of McGregor Street and Aberdeen Avenue. Officers met with a 19 year old female victim who advised that she was walking westbound on Aberdeen Avenue when she was grabbed from behind by an unknown male suspect. The victim then observed two additional male suspects who took hold of her and carried her northbound for approximately 3 blocks. The suspects continued to carry the victim to a porch somewhere in the area. It was at this time a serious sexual assault occurred. Prior to the suspects fleeing, the victim was robbed of her jacket and purse. As a result of the incident, the victim sustained multiple upper and lower body injuries. The suspects are described as: Suspect #1: Male, Aboriginal in appearance, olive skin, 20-25 years, 6'1"- 6'2", 180 lbs., skinny build, muscular, good teeth, clear complexion, no facial hair, black jeans , black sweater and red hat. Suspect #2: Male, Aboriginal in appearance, 26-27 years, 6'4", 250 lbs, large build, bushy eyebrows, chubby cheeks, crooked teeth, small mouth, wearing all black clothing with a red sweater. Suspect #3: Male, Aboriginal in appearance, fair complexion, approximately 18 years old, 5'6", 150-160 lbs, medium build, chubby build, red bandana covering the lower half of his face, red shirt, black sweater.
