Winnipeg Police Service News Release:

STRONG-ARM ROBBERY C11-48801
On Friday, March 11, 2011 at approximately 11:00 p.m., Uniform members responded to the area of Dale Boulevard and Roblin Boulevard regarding a robbery incident.
 
The investigation has revealed that a 19 year old male and a 17 year old female were walking in the area when they were confronted by four male suspects occupying a vehicle. The suspects subsequently robbed the victims of an undisclosed amount of cash and cigarettes.
 
Police were notified and attended, however the 17 year old female left the area prior to police arrival. Investigators are requesting the public's assistance in locating the female victim as she may possess valuable information regarding the incident.
 
She is described as: Caucasian, 17 years of age, 5'5" in height, 120 lbs., long blond hair, glasses, right eyebrow pierced, wearing: a white "DC" hoodie, black tights and black boots.
 
One of the suspects is described as: Male, Aboriginal in appearance, wearing: a black hoodie, black pants and black hat.
 
The suspect vehicle is described as a: Black, newer model, 4 door car, possibly a Honda Civic.
 
The investigation is continuing by members of the District 6 Crime Unit. Anyone with information regarding the incident is asked to contact investigators at 986-2877 or CrimeStoppers at 786-TIPS (8477).
