MISSING PERSON- SEIANNA LEASK- UPDATE    C11-37996
As previously released, the Winnipeg Police Service had requested the public's assistance in locating, missing 10 year old female, Seianna LEASK.

Since Thursday, February 24th, 2011, when LEASK was last reported missing, the Winnipeg Police Service has had resources assigned to locate her.   During this time, investigators have learned through several sources that LEASK has been active within the community.

The investigation has also revealed that LEASK is with persons known to her who are interfering with her care, by failing to cooperate with investigators.

The Missing Persons Unit does not believe she is in danger from any of the individuals who are harbouring her, however due to her young age we do have a concern about victimization while she is unsupervised.  LEASK needs to be located and returned to proper care.

The Winnipeg Police Service would like to remind the public that harbouring a child is an offence.

LEASK is described as Aboriginal, 5'0" tall, 100 pounds, with shoulder length straight dark hair and brown eyes.

LEASK was last seen wearing a black jacket with white stripes on the sleeves, a black hoodie, black tight pants, a white toque and black and white converse runners.

Anyone with information regarding LEASK's whereabouts is asked to contact the Winnipeg Police Service Missing Persons Unit at 986-6250.
