NORTH END HOCKEY CHALLENGE
 
The Winnipeg Police Service Patrolmen Hockey Club will be facing off against the North End Celebrity All Stars, on December 2, 2010 at 7:00 p.m. at the Billy Mosienko Arena, 709 Keewatin Street.
 
Members of the Winnipeg Police Service, District 3 Community Support Unit, and the Winnipeg Police Service Patrolmen Hockey Club have co-coordinated this initiative, which is in support of the NORTH END HOCKEY PROGRAM.
 
The NEHP provides children the opportunity to play our national game, some of which who may not be able to play due to the high costs of equipment and ice time.
 
The program is an excellent positive alternative to joining gangs, and getting involved in other criminal activity.
 
Various Winnipeg Celebrities, Members of the media, and Retired NHL Players are scheduled to Participate in the event.
 
The scheduled WINNIPEG HOCKEY LEGENDS to play are: Councillor Thomas Steen, Ab McDonald, Perry Miller, Carey Wilson, and Russ Romaniuk.
 
Tickets are $5.00 and are available at the gate.
