FRIDAY, DECEMBER 3rd, 2010 FIREARM INCIDENT C10-275347 On Friday, December 3rd, 2010 at approximately 10:45 a.m. the Winnipeg Police Service received information that a male, located inside a residence in the 1600 block of Arlington Avenue, was in possession of a firearm. Numerous Officers and Units attended to the area and a perimeter was established to ensure the safety of nearby residents, schools and businesses. At approximately 2:00 p.m., a male youth was taken into custody without incident. This youth will be facing firearms related offences. This investigation is still ongoing by Division 13 Members. This area is now open to pedestrian and vehicular traffic. The Winnipeg Police Service would like to thank the public and the media for their assistance during this incident.
