Winnipeg Police Service News Release:

FRIDAY, DECEMBER 31st, 2010 11:00 a.m.   COMMERCIAL ROBBERY                                    C10-295351 On December 30th, 2010 at approximately 6:45 p.m. Winnipeg Police Service Uniform Members attended to a business located in the 900 block of McPhillips Street for a report of robbery that had just occurred.    The investigation has revealed that 2 males had entered the business and demanded money after indicating they had a weapon.  Both suspects fled after obtaining a small amount of cash.   The two male suspects were described as: white, medium build, 5'9" to 5'10". One was wearing a dark coloured hoodie, and the second wearing a white and black checkered jacket with a black scarf around his face.   A Winnipeg Police Service K9 unit assisted in a search of the area, however, no suspects were located. The incident is being investigated by Division 13 detectives.     COMMERCIAL ROBBERIES                                    C10-286110 The Winnipeg Police Service is investigating a number of commercial robberies that occurred in during the month of December. One suspect is believed responsible for the following incidents:   December 17th in the 1400 block of Main Street. December 18th in the 2500 block of Main Street. December 19th, 23rd and 26th at the same business in 1700 block of Henderson Hwy. All 3 businesses were fast food restaurants. The suspect is described as a male in his late 20's or early 30's with a medium build, approximately 5'8" to 6'0" with a medium build.       The Winnipeg Police Service is asking the public's assistance in identifying the individual in the photograph above.
