FRIDAY, DECEMBER 31st, 2010 11:00 a.m. COMMERCIAL ROBBERY C10-295351 On December 30th, 2010 at approximately 6:45 p.m. Winnipeg Police Service Uniform Members attended to a business located in the 900 block of McPhillips Street for a report of robbery that had just occurred. The investigation has revealed that 2 males had entered the business and demanded money after indicating they had a weapon. Both suspects fled after obtaining a small amount of cash. The two male suspects were described as: white, medium build, 5'9" to 5'10". One was wearing a dark coloured hoodie, and the second wearing a white and black checkered jacket with a black scarf around his face. A Winnipeg Police Service K9 unit assisted in a search of the area, however, no suspects were located. The incident is being investigated by Division 13 detectives. COMMERCIAL ROBBERIES C10-286110 The Winnipeg Police Service is investigating a number of commercial robberies that occurred in during the month of December. One suspect is believed responsible for the following incidents:
All 3 businesses were fast food restaurants. The suspect is described as a male in his late 20's or early 30's with a medium build, approximately 5'8" to 6'0" with a medium build. The Winnipeg Police Service is asking the public's assistance in identifying the individual in the photograph above.
