SHOOTING INVESTIGATION           C11-171381
On Sunday, August 14th, 2011 shortly after 9:00 p.m. Winnipeg Police Service members along with a number of emergency services personnel responded to the 1st 100 block of Lou Peltier Crescent for a report of shots that had been fired at a residence.

Upon arrival, three male victims were located within a garage area suffering from gun shot wounds.   Paramedics transported the victims to the hospital in critical condition.

The investigation has revealed that a lone suspect approached the residence and began firing into the garage area striking the individuals within.

Two male victims, aged 26 and 30 years sustained gun shot wounds to their upper and lower body, while the third victim, a 29 year old male sustained gun shot wounds to his lower body.  All males have since been upgraded to stable condition.

Although a motive for this shooting has not been determined, investigators believe that either the address or the victims were targeted.  There is no information to suggest that this incident is connected to the ongoing dispute between the outlaw motorcycle gangs.

This investigation is ongoing.  Anyone who has any information regarding this incident or the suspect(s) is asked to contact the Organized Crime Unit at 986-3411, or CrimeStoppers at 786-TIPS (8477).
