Monday, July 23, 2012 SEXUAL ASSAULT C12-142575 On Saturday, July 21, 2012 at approximately 3:35 a.m., members of the Winnipeg Police Service responded to the area of the 200 block of Carlton Street regarding a serious sexual assault that just occurred involving an 18 year old female. Officers met with the victim who advised that while she was in the area of Carlton Street and St. Mary's Avenue came into contact with a male, at which time a serious sexual assault occurred. The victim summoned help from individuals that were passing-by in the area and the male immediately fled from the location. The suspect is described as:
The investigation is continuing by members of the Sex Crimes Unit.
