Winnipeg Police Service News Release:

COMMERCIAL ROBBERY         C12-129542
On Wednesday, July 4, 2012 at 9:55 p.m., members of the Winnipeg Police Service attended to a fast food restaurant in the 100 block of St. Anne's Road regarding the report of a commercial robbery.
 
The investigation revealed that two male suspects entered the restaurant and approached the 23 year old female employee and demanded cash. The suspects received an undisclosed amount of cash and fled from the location.
 
The victim was not injured as a result of this incident.
 
The suspects are described as following:
 
Suspect #1: Caucasian Male, approximately 20 - 25 years old, slim build, short dark hair
Suspect #2: Caucasian Male, approximately 20 - 25 years old, slim build
 
The investigation is continuing by members of the Major Crimes Unit. Anyone with information regarding this matter is asked to contact investigators at 204-986-6219 or CrimeStoppers at 204-786-TIPS (8477).
 
 
 
LOST MEDICATION           C12-62506
On Wednesday, July 4, 2012, members of the Winnipeg Police Service took the report of lost medication that occurred on June 30, 2012 between 4:30 p.m. and 5:30 p.m., in the Downtown area of Winnipeg.
 
Lost: Approximately 200 Oxycodone pills.
 
The Winnipeg Police Service reminds the public that taking large quantities of this medication alone or in combination with other drugs or alcohol could be dangerous to your health or fatal.
 
At no time should this medication be taken by anyone if located. If anyone finds this medication please turn it over to any local police station or contact police at 204-986-6222.
