Monday, June 4, 2012 11:00 a.m. COMMERCIAL ROBBERY C12-104689 On Sunday, June 3, 2012 at approximately 5:43 p.m., members of the Winnipeg Police Service responded to the 2800 block of Pembina Highway for the report of a commercial robbery. The investigation revealed that a male suspect armed with a weapon and wearing a disguise attended to this location and confronted a 19 year old male employee. The suspect demanded and received an undisclosed amount of cash and fled from location. The 19 year old victim was not injured as a result of this incident. The suspect is described as follows: Male, Caucasian, approximately 25 years old, 5'5"-5'7" tall, medium build. The investigation is continuing by the Major Crime Unit. ARSON ARRESTS C12-1047574 On Sunday, June 3, 2012 at approximately 8:00 p.m., members of the Winnipeg Police Service responded to the 200 block of Pritchard Avenue regarding the report of a residential break-in and a fire. Three youths were seen fleeing from this location. Police arrived on scene and found several onlookers watching Winnipeg Fire Service distinguished the fire that had engulfed the residence. The investigation revealed that three male youths attended to this location and broke into the residence and set a fire. This was observed by witnesses in the area who notified the police. Officers immediately searched the surrounding area and at 8:15 p.m., located the three male youths at Charles Street and Pritchard Avenue. The males were arrested and taken into custody. There were no injuries as a result of the fire. The total value of damage is estimated at $180,000. Accused #1 - 13 year old male was charged with the following:
