PROJECT FLATLINED – UPDATE – ARREST R11-36882
On June 1, 2012, police conducted a traffic stop in the Headingly, Manitoba area on an unrelated matter at which time contact was made with Jared James IRVING, 26 years.
 
As a result of the investigation, an outstanding warrant came to light for the arrest of IRVING.
 
He was taken into custody and members of the Winnipeg Police Service Organized Crime Unit were notified.
 
IRVING has been charged with: CC 810.2(4) Refusal to enter into Serious Personal Injury Peace Bond.
 
He has been detained.
 
 
An outstanding warrant remains in effect for the arrest of Jesse Richard THOMAS, 27 years.
 
Anyone with information regarding THOMAS' whereabouts is asked to contact police immediately.
 
 
WEAPON – ARREST C12-102195
On May 31, 2012, members of the WPS District 3 Community Support Unit, with the assistance of the Tactical Support Team became involved in a weapon related investigation.
 
Due to their efforts, a search warrant was applied for and executed at a residence located in the 600 block of Polson Avenue. The following items were located and seized:
 
  • . 22 calibre rifle (modified)
  • Shotgun – (modified)
  • Magazine and ammunition
  • Large knife
A 16 year old male was located and placed under arrest.
 
He has been charged with the following offences:
 
  • Breach of Firearms Regulation x 3
  • Possession of Weapon for Dangerous Purpose x 3
  • Knowledge of Unauthorized Possession of Firearm x 2
  • Possess Firearm with Altered Serial Number
  • Possession of Firearm etc, while Prohibited x 3
  • Fail to Comply with Condition Undertaking x 3
He was detained at the Manitoba Youth Centre.
