Run For The Cure
The run takes place this morning between 8:45 & 11:00 and will follow the route below.

Start in the Shaw Baseball Park and exit northbound through the parking lots onto Mill Street, then east on Lombard Avenue to Waterfront Drive, north on Waterfront Drive to the turning circle just north of George Avenue, U-turn and follow the pathway along the river southbound almost to Pioneer Avenue, then continuing on the pathway east and south under the Provencher Bridge, continuing south and west along the River Walk to the Docks at The Forks, then north along paths into The Forks and past the Forks Market Canopy, continuing north across Forks Market Road toward the Festival Park (Scotia Bank Stage) area, then west along the path to Israel Asper Way, north on Israel Asper Way using one northbound lane, crossing William Stephenson Way and Pioneer Avenue, then west on the north sidewalk of Pioneer Avenue back into Shaw Park to the finish line.

Waterfront Drive will be completely closed for the duration of the event between Pioneer Avenue and Heaton Avenue.

Israel Asper Way northbound lanes between Forks Market Road and WilliamStephenson Way will also be closed.

Traffic on William Stephenson Way and Pioneer Avenue will be allowed to crossWaterfront Drive periodically with assistance from Police.

Eastbound York Avenue (Mahatma Gandhi Way) will be closed between Main Street and

Israel Asper Way; however access to The Forks will still be possible from Main Street via Fort Gibralter Way and Forks Market Road, and from Israel Asper Way southbound via William Stephenson Way.
