Commercial Robbery – C14-219413
On October 13, 2014 shortly before 9:30 p.m. officers were dispatched to a convenience store in the 400 block of Springfield Road for the report of a commercial robbery that had just occurred.
 
Responding personnel met with the clerk who advised that an unknown male, with his identity disguised, had entered the store and immediately attended to the counter.  The male, brandishing a weapon, demanded and received an undisclosed amount of cash & cigarettes after which he fled on foot.
 
The clerk was not injured.
 
The suspect is described as: male, approximately 5'8" tall with a chubby build and high pitched voice.
 
The investigation is continuing by members of the Major Crimes Unit. Anyone with information regarding this matter or the identity of the suspect is asked to contact investigators at (204) 986-6219 or Crime Stoppers at (204) 786-TIPS (8477).

On October 13, 2014 at approximately 10:00 p.m. members of the Winnipeg Police Service were dispatched to a gas bar in the 1800 block of Main Street for the report of a commercial robbery that had just occurred.
 
Responding officers met with the clerk who advised that an unknown male, brandishing a weapon, had walked up to him and demanded cigarettes.  It was at this time a nearby person yelled out and the suspect ran off without obtaining any merchandise.
 
The clerk was not injured.
 
The suspect is described as: male, possibly Caucasian, approximately 5'8"–5'10" tall with an average build.
 
The investigation is continuing by members of the Major Crimes Unit. Anyone with information regarding this matter or the identity of the suspect is asked to contact investigators at (204) 986-6219 or Crime Stoppers at (204) 786-TIPS (8477).
