Sexual Assault - C14-214642
On October 7, 2014 at approximately 8:15 p.m., a 25 year-old female was walking southbound over the Slaw Rebchuk Bridge when she encountered an unknown male asking for a cigarette.
The female declined and continued on her way. The male proceeded to follow her while attempting to engage in further conversation.
The female requested that she be left alone when the suspect groped her in the upper and lower body. The victim defended herself and the suspect eventually fled the area.
The victim was not injured.
The suspect is described as a Black male, medium complexion, in his early 20's, 5'8" tall, slim build, wearing: dark clothing and carrying a single strap black duffle bag over his shoulder.

Commercial Robbery C14-215116
On October 8, 2014, at approximately 11:05 a.m., a lone male entered a business located in the 600 block of Balmoral Street and placed an order for purchase.
While the employee was preparing the order, the suspect produced a weapon and demanded money. The victim called out for help and the suspect fled the business on foot empty handed.
The suspect is described as a Caucasian male, in his 40's, 6'2" tall, medium build and bald.

Commercial Robbery C14-215285
On October 8, 2014, at approximately 3:30 p.m., a male entered a store located in the 400 block of Carlton Street and confronted an employee.
The suspect proceeded behind the counter and began robbing the business of an undisclosed amount of cigarettes. Prior to fleeing, the suspect threatened to harm the 26 year-old male employee.
At approximately 4:55 p.m., Patrol members identified and took custody of the male suspect who was still in the area.
Members of the Major Crimes Unit continued with the investigation.
Randy Gerald MCKENZIE, 23 years-old of Winnipeg has been charged with the following offences due to his alleged involvement:
Robbery
Uttering Threats
Fail to Comply with Probation Order
He was remanded into custody.
