FESTIVE SEASON CHECKSTOP PROGRAM - WEEK #4 RESULTS
The Winnipeg Police Service Central Traffic Unit has provided the results from the fourth week of the Festive Season Check Stop Program. 
 
304 - Vehicles were stopped
27   - Approved Screening Device (ASD) Tests were administered
6     - 24 hour suspensions were issued (ASD Warns)
11   - Drive Impaired/Over/Refusal Charges
18   - Traffic Related Provincial Offence Notices were issued
3     - Other criminal charges

The Winnipeg Police Service Central Traffic Unit has provided the final results from the Festive Season Check Stop Program. 
 
4106 - Vehicles were stopped
246   - Approved Screening Device (ASD) Tests were administered
43     - 24 hour suspensions were issued (ASD Warns)
55     - Drive Impaired/Over/Refusal Charges
141   - Traffic Related Provincial Offence Notices were issued
5       - Other arrests
 
Break down:
Impaired arrests:
Highest BAC (blood alcohol concentration) = 240 MG%
Lowest BAC = 70 mg%
Average BAC = 145 mg%
 
44 males
11 females
 
Average age = 34 years
Youngest = 16 years
Oldest = 66 years
