SUSPICIOUS MALE IN VEHICLE   C14-10049
On January 14, 2014 at 12:00 noon, two females, 9 and 10 years-old were standing near Keenleyside Street and Pike Crescent when they were approached by a male in a vehicle.
 
The male pulled up near the children and through the open driver's side door window, he extended his hand filled with colourful candies. The male then asked if they wanted some of the candy. The girls refused, fled the area and notified an adult.
 
No contact was made and the females were uninjured.
 
The male is described as:
 
Approximately 30 years-old
Asian in appearance (dark complexion)
Average build
Dark hair, ear/jaw length
Mole on his face between the nose and lip
 
Suspect vehicle:
 
Black van
Tinted windows
Sliding doors on both sides
Possible dent on front driver's side quarter panel
 
Members of the East District Crime Unit have been notified. Anyone with information regarding this incident is asked to contact investigators at 204-986-2857 or Crime Stoppers at 204-786-TIPS (8477).
