Thursday, October 10, 2013 2013 OPERATION IMPACT CAMPAIGN The Winnipeg Police Service is pleased to be participating in "Operation Impact", a national public safety initiative endorsed by the Canadian Association of Chiefs of Police and a collaboration of Police Agencies across Canada.  The program's aim is to save lives and reduce injuries on our roadways.  This is an achievable goal with the involvement of the driving public. Winnipeg's most recent statistics include 21 fatalities on our streets last year, a contribution to thousands of traffic victims throughout Canada annually.
