SUSPICIOUS MALE R13-73835
On October 9, 2013 at approximately 9:00 p.m., four young females (ages 4-12 years) were walking home in the area of the 1400 block of Elgin Avenue.
 
While in the area, the females observed an unknown male yell out to them. It was at this time the male chased the girls and grabbed at the four year-old female. She began screaming and managed to run away.
 
Parents and police were notified of the incident.
 
The male suspect is described as: Caucasian, bald and wearing dark clothing.   

The area School Resource Officer has been notified, including members of the Child Abuse Unit.

DRUG INVESTIGATION – ARREST C13-208396
On October 10, 2013 at approximately 9:00 p.m., members of the Street Crime Unit attended to a residence located on Hull Avenue regarding an unrelated matter.
 
While in attendance, information was obtained to support that illegal drugs may be present.
 
Ultimately, a Controlled Drug and Substance Act search warrant was executed and the following items were located and seized:
 
15.5 grams of Crack Cocaine – estimated street value $1,240.00
111 grams of Marihuana - estimated street value $1,665.00
4 x Percocet pills – valued at $40.00
Digital scales
$1,050.00 Canadian currency
Machete
Cellular Phones x 3
 
A male occupant fled from officers but was apprehended a short distance away.
 
Abdullah KHIDIR, 23 years-old of Winnipeg has been charged with the following due to his alleged involvement and detained:
 
Possessing Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking x 2
Fail to Comply with Condition Recognizance x 3
Possessing Controlled Drug or Substance
Possess Proceeds of Crime
Escape Lawful Custody
