STABBING INVESTIGATION – PUBLIC ASSISTANCE REQUIRED  
C13-176399
On September 1, 2013 at approximately 3:00 a.m., officers and other emergency personnel responded to the area of Jarvis Avenue and McKenzie Street regarding a stabbing incident involving a 31 year old male victim.
 
As a result, the victim was transported in critical condition, later upgraded to stable condition.
 
The investigation is on-going involving District 3 Detectives. Investigators are requesting the public's assistance in identifying the following male:

SEXUAL ASSAULT C13-209551
On October 12, 2013 at approximately 8:40 a.m., members of the Winnipeg Police Service responded to a sexual assault incident that occurred earlier in the morning, in the area of the 1200 block of Burrows Avenue involving a 16 year old female victim.
 
It was reported that the victim had been walking eastbound on Burrows Avenue when she was approached by an unknown male. The male attempted to engage in a conversation, however the victim made every effort to distance herself and avoid the suspect.
 
The suspect continued to follow the victim at which point he groped her to the lower body multiple times. The victim fled and police were notified.
 
No arrest has been made at this time.
 
The suspect is described as: Male, Aboriginal in appearance, 35 years-old, 5'8" tall, average build and short black hair.    
 
The investigation is continuing by District 3 Detectives.
