HOMICIDE ARREST – C13-127479
As previously released, on Saturday, June 29, 2013 shortly after 4:30 a.m. emergency personnel were dispatched to the 400 block of Manitoba Avenue for the report of a stabbing.
 
Officers located an adult male victim suffering from apparent stab wounds.  The male was transported to hospital with life-threatening injuries where he later succumbed to his injuries.
 
The victim was identified as: Michael James FLETT 30 years of Winnipeg.
 
The investigation continued by members of the Homicide Unit. 
 
On Thursday, July 4, 2013 a male was located and arrested for his alleged involvement in the incident.
 
Michael Aaron ROULETTE 18 years of Winnipeg has been charged with:

  • 2nd Degree Murder
  • Assault with A Weapon x 2

He has been detained at the Provincial Remand Centre.
 
The investigation is continuing by members of the Homicide Unit.  Anyone who has any information regarding this incident is asked to contact investigators at (204) 986-6508.
