              TIPS FOR APARTMENT RESIDENTS
 


  • Always ensure that the lock cylinders have been changed when moving into a new apartment.
  • When the buzzer rings, always confirm the identity of person(s) seeking entrance. NEVER ALLOW ANYONE INTO YOUR BLOCK YOU DO NOT KNOW.
  • Keep your suite door locked at all times.
  • Don't identify yourself on the callboard as a female living alone. Use initials (ex: J. Smith) or the word "Occupied".
  • Ensure your apartment door is equipped with a peep hole.
  • Never open your door to someone you don't know.
  • Notify the Police and apartment manager of any suspicious person(s) or activities you observe in and around your apartment block.
