STRONG-ARM ROBBERY – C13-141011
On Wednesday, July 17, 2013 at approximately 12:30 a.m. Winnipeg Police Service members were dispatched to the 300 block of Tweed Avenue for the report of a robbery that had just occurred.
 
Attending officers met with a 29 year old pizza delivery driver who advised that when he attempted to deliver an order he was approached by two males.  One of the males produced a weapon at which time he was robbed of his food.  The males then fled on foot.
 
The driver was not injured.
 
Suspect #1 is described as a black male, 5'10"-6' in height, 25-30 years of age with a muscular build.
 
Suspect #2 is described as a black male, 5'10"-6' in height, 25-30 years of age with a thin build.
 
The investigation is continuing by members of the East District Crime Unit.  Anyone with information regarding this incident or the identity of the suspect(s) is asked to contact investigators at (204) 986-2857 or CrimeStoppers at (204) 786-TIPS (8477).
