SUSPICIOUS PERSON – C13-139991
On Monday, July 15, 2013 shortly before 5:00 p.m. the Winnipeg Police Service received the report of a suspicious person.
 
Responding members met with the two female complainants aged 9 & 12 years.  They advised that just prior to calling the police they had been walking in the 500 block of Manitoba Avenue when they were approached by two males in a vehicle.  The driver said "Get in the car I'll give you money."  The girls fled and contacted police.
 
The suspect driver is described as Aboriginal, mid-fifties with greyish white hair.  He was wearing a Chicago Bulls hat.
 
No description of the passenger is available.
 
The vehicle is described as a newer red pick-up truck.
 
As well, a dog was noted to be in the vehicle.
 
The investigation is continuing by members of the District 3 Crime Unit.  Anyone with information regarding this incident or the identity of the suspect(s) is asked to contact investigators at (204) 986-2848 or CrimeStoppers at (204) 786-TIPS (8477).
