Thursday, July 11, 2013 STOLEN BIKE INVESTIGATION C13-136432 The Winnipeg Police Service has received the report of a bike being stolen on July 10th, 2013 at approximately 10:30 p.m., in the area of the 800 block of Leila Avenue while left unattended. The owner of the bike is currently travelling through Winnipeg due to a fundraising ride which began on June 14th, 2013 in Victoria, British Columbia. The ride was to conclude in St. John's, Newfoundland. The Winnipeg Police Service is requesting the public's assistance in locating the following bike: -
Touring bike, dark blue frame with silver accents, "Napoli" written on the frame, two rear saddle bags (black/grey) and one mounted on the front. Members of the District 3 Crime Unit have been notified.
