DRUG INVESTIGATION – ARRESTS R13-50137
On July 18, 2013, members of the Marihuana Grow Operation Unit with the assistance of the Tactical Support Team and East District Uniform Patrol executed a Controlled Drug and Substance Act search warrant at a residence located in the 200 block of Union Avenue West.
 
A search of the home revealed the following:
 
20 – Marihuana plants – estimated street value $22,400.00
½ pound of dried marihuana – estimated street value $1500.00
Prescription medication
Grow Operation equipment valued at $4000.00
 
A 21 year-old male and 20 year-old male are facing numerous drug related offences:
 
21year-old male:
Production of Controlled Substance – Marihuana
Possessing Substance for Purpose of Trafficking – Marihuana
 
20 year-old male:
Production of Controlled Substance – Marihuana
Possessing Substance for Purpose of Trafficking – Marihuana
Possessing Controlled Drug or Substance – Marihuana
Breach Probation X 3
 
Both males were released on a Promise to Appear.
