Wednesday, February 13, 2013     MISSING PERSON – TANISHA LAPORTE – R13-6173 The Winnipeg Police Service is requesting the public's assistance in locating a 14 year old female, Tanisha LAPORTE.   LAPORTE was last seen on January 25, 2013 in the Sargent Park area of Winnipeg.   The Winnipeg Police Service considers LAPORTE to be a child in need of protection as she is at high risk of being exploited or victimized and investigators are concerned for her well-being.   LAPORTE is described as: Metis, 5'4" tall, 120 lbs., long straight brown hair and brown eyes.                               Anyone with information regarding LAPORTE'S whereabouts is asked to contact the Winnipeg Police Service Missing Persons Unit at 204 986-6250.       For further information contact either: Constable Jason Michalyshen, Public Information Officer Constable Eric Hofley, Public Information Officer Office: (204)986-3061 Fax: (204) 986-3267 Email: WPS-PIO@Winnipeg.ca   Web: www.winnipeg.ca/Police
