Winnipeg Police Service News Release:

Monday, February 20, 2012     COMMERCIAL ROBBERY C12-31055 On February 19, 2012, at approximately 8:20 p.m., officers responded to a restaurant located in the 100 bock of Sherbrook Street regarding a commercial robbery incident.   Attending members discovered that an 18 year old male employee had been confronted by a lone male suspect who was attempting to conceal his identity. It was at this time the suspect demanded money and threatened to harm the employee. An undisclosed amount of cash was obtained and the suspect fled the area on a bike.   The employee was not injured as a result of the incident.   The suspect is described as:   ·        Male ·        Caucasian ·        6'6" tall ·        Approximately 25 years of age ·        Blue eyes ·        Brown eyebrows ·        Fled the area on a black and white bike   The investigation is continuing by members of the Major Crimes Unit.
