FATAL MOTOR VEHICLE COLLISION C13-182556
On September 8, 2013 at approximately 10:15 p.m., emergency personnel responded to the area of Manitoba Avenue and McGregor Street regarding the report of a serious motor vehicle collision involving a cyclist.
At this stage of the investigation it has been revealed that a 51 year old female had been cycling eastbound in the back lane between Magnus Avenue and Manitoba Avenue. Upon reaching McGregor Street she turned north into the southbound lanes of at which time she collided with a southbound transit bus.
The female was transported from the scene in critical condition and has since succumbed to her injuries.
The name of the deceased is not being released.

FIREARM SEEN - C13-181789
On Saturday, September 7, 2013 at approximately 10:00 p.m. members of the Winnipeg Police Service were dispatched for the report of a firearm having been seen.
Attending members met with two females, eight and ten years of age who advised that while walking to their friends they had been in the area of McMeans Avenue East and Northcliffe Drive. A vehicle drove past and the male passenger pointed a firearm out the window and stated 'Bang bang bang'. The vehicle was last seen eastbound McMeans towards Ravenhurst.
The passenger is described as: Caucasian, 16 years with a skinny build.
The driver is described as: Caucasian, 19 years with dark short hair and a skinny build.
The vehicle is described as a white, older model truck, possibly a Chevrolet with an extended cab, shiny rims and rust on the door bottoms. There were pink/blue stickers and a green/black FOX sticker on the passenger door.
